The first Kinsey Report marks a turning point. Until then promoted by a certain elite, the sexual revolution became a movement supported by society as a whole.

It is not only a matter of changing consciences and morals, as witnessed by the rise of sex education and pornography, but also of transforming laws for greater equality and less discrimination.
