The daily routine of Shelly Rajuan, a police officer with the ‘Foreigners’ unit in Eilat, is disrupted one day when the body of an unidentified woman is found.

Shelly decides to investigate the connection between a family heirloom and the story of her twin sister’s disappearance and death; to do so, she needs Roei’s help, and they find themselves on a mission in the desert.

The police believe that Hefetz is telling the truth, but Shelly is certain he's hiding something. During a conversation with an old friend, she discovers a surprising detail and decides to confront him herself.

Shelly and Roei are chasing after Ogi. Shelly finds herself alone with him in the desert and decides to try a different approach to get him to reveal what he knows.

After my funeral, Roei and I discover that one of the people closest to Maya Regev is hiding a secret that could shed light on the case. Once again, I decide to act on my own.

Shelly and Roei return to the Vanishing Lake, where they find Amir’s skeleton. Neri appoints Shelly to lead the investigation, much to Karnit’s displeasure.
