On the eve of her art show, Harlem artist Taylor James shares a random night of unbridled passion with a mystery stranger that turns her world upside down.

At Taylor's art show, her roommate and aspiring musician, Aklia, gets insight from rapper Swizz Beatz. Candice gets surprising news from her husband, George.

Jake meets with Taylor's ex-girlfriend and model, Tammy, to learn the truth about their fractured relationship. Candice pops up on Taylor unexpectedly, which leads to a surprising discovery.

Jake confides in a friend about his mother. At the studio, Taylor vents her concern over Jake to Aklia, while Candice and George have a heated argument over their declining marriage.
