Twelve hard-working Americans take on navigating a wheelbarrow and testing their brick-laying skills to win the opportunity to choose their teams, on part one of the two-hour series premiere.

The crew takes on three additional challenges: they get down and dirty in their first team competition as they work to complete the missing part of a railroad track; they "punch in" for their initial individual test, and the last two standing face off in a railroad overtime challenge, on part two of the two-hour series premiere.

The crew competes in a series of challenges at a junk yard, where they must take apart a car and retrieve auto parts. Next, the last two standing need all the strength they can spare in an overtime challenge removing tires from the rims.

Tensions run high during the team challenge when one crew has issues with communication while building a large fence on a farm.

It's no day at the beach for teams Savage Crew and Dirty Hands as they compete to fill and seal giant bags of sand.

Teams are challenged mentally and physically when tasked with pushing 24 heavy barrels uphill and arranging them in a specific order at an oil field, and one crew member must conquer a fear of heights to climb a telephone pole.
